2 Day Broga® Fitness Yoga Certification LONDON

2 Day non-residential course Broga® fitness yoga course. A yoga course for those looking to teach a no-nonsense sport and anatomy minded approach to yoga that is a harcore workout and stretch but completely scalable for beginners at the same time. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE LIKE BROGA.

The 30 hour course is worth a whopping 10 CIMSPA points

(basically worth the value of your course!) 

Your weekend intensive will include:

Rigorous fitness and yoga training as it directly applies to sport and anatomy

Engaging with and connecting yoga and your teaching to a fitness-minded market

Becoming a dynamic, confident and desirable group fitness leader and motivator

Each day hosts a sporting challenge. You will feel with your own body the demands placed on the body by typical sports. You will learn both an upper body and lower body specific Broga® fitness yoga syllabus . We then workshop, practice and feel the demands placed on other athletes and the benefits specific yoga movements have in aiding flexibility, longevity and increasing performance.

* Students will learn two 60 min Broga® class syllabuses . These can be adapted to any fitness level and shorted as express versions to 30 and 45 minutes. Students will be required to do aprox 10 hours of external learning prior to and during course.

**Licence is for the UK only. Transferring to the EU, US, AUS, CAN may incur fees/course updates. Licence is for individuals to use the Broga® name/brand and operate freely under the brand guidelines to profit by hosting classes, workshops and events only. Requires a minimum attendance of one quarterly update day course to renew licence for another year - and learn new course material of course! 

Participants are required to have valid certification in either personal training, group fitness or yoga instruction

Abbey Wood Yoga Mini Urban Retreat, Recharge and Refocus- February 2018

Enjoy all the trimmings of a nourishing yoga retreat in the beautiful surroundings of Lesnes Abbey lead by Katie Earwaker of Abbey Wood Yoga. The class will be in the newly built lodge at Lesnes Abbey.

The retreat will start with focusing and energizing pranayama (breath work) techniques followed by a fluid and dynamic vinyasa flow sequence focusing on alignment and breath designed to increase the flow of energy (prana) around the body. The sequence will also include plenty of standing and balancing postures designed to focus the mind.

For the final part of the retreat, there will be a guided relaxation called yoga nidra.

Yoga nidra is the perfect time to strengthen your intention for 2018 as we sow the seed of Sankalpa (resolution). The term Sankalpa refers to something much more profound than a new year's resolution, it is a positive statement, a direction in life that you wish to achieve, a deep heartfelt wish or desire for yourself.

5.30 Tea and Snacks, and an opportunity to meet and chat with other local yoga students

Dynamic Life Yoga

Come and join Dynamic Life Yoga for our January yoga pop-up at Linden Stores, 220 St Paul's Road, N1 2LL.

Every Monday we will take you through a dynamic vinyasa flow by candlelight, lighting up those long Winter nights!

Whether you're looking to improve your flexibility, strengthen your body to help with other sports (or just everyday life!), work up a bit of a sweat, calm the mind, or try yoga for the first time, Dynamic Life Yoga will help you to stretch and strengthen your body and mind so that after our hour long class, you will be able to relax into your well-earned savasana at the end!

With every practice teamed with a eclectic soundtrack, Dynamic Life Yoga will lead you though a dynamic practice that is well-balanced to take the body through planes of movement that many of us just do not get sitting behind a desk all day and help to work away those aches and pains from repetitive actions in our sport or work. Most importantly, we find time to calm the mind from our hectic lives.

Mats provided. Please arrive 10-15mins before the start time.
